Take-back of end-of-life electrical equipment / batteries
We are committed to being environmentally friendly, so we provide you with easy and free ways to dispose of your end-of-life electrical equipment/batteries.
The consumer plays a crucial role in the system of disposal of electrical appliances and portable batteries. It is the consumer who decides what to do with the old appliance/battery. Old and unwanted electrical appliances and batteries do not belong in unsorted municipal waste, but should be handed over to collection points, so-called take-back points, from which they are sent for reuse or recycling.
The consumer must be informed by the symbols below that the electrical equipment/batteries concerned do not belong in municipal waste. All new electrical equipment/batteries are so marked. The symbol may be indicated directly on the equipment, on its packaging or in the instructions for use or warranty card.
The device must not end up in mixed municipal waste. It contains recyclable materials — metals, electronic components and plastics — that can be recovered after professional dismantling.

Czech Republic
As a producer we fulfil our take-back obligations under Act No. 542/2020 Coll., on end-of-life products.
You can hand in or send an end-of-life device to our company address free of charge, or use any of the public take-back points listed below.
The recycling fee is stated separately from the product price on our quotations and invoices.
How to get rid of old appliances/batteries?
- individuals can use the service: BUĎ LÍNÝ or Rebalík
- legal entities can use: Collection service for registered partners
- through the publicly available collection network REMA Systém, a.s., which is designed for the take-back of electrical equipment
- through the publicly available collection network REMA Battery, s.r.o., which is designed for the take-back of batteries
- through a publicly accessible collection network that is designated for take-back on the website of the Ministry of the Environment (ISOH 2)

European Union (WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU)
Our instruments are professional measuring and industrial equipment intended for business use (B2B). They therefore do not fall into the household equipment category.
Unless the contract states otherwise, responsibility for financing and arranging take-back passes to the local importer or end user in accordance with the national legislation of the member state concerned.
By arrangement with our service department, an end-of-life device can be sent back to the manufacturer for professional dismantling and recycling.
Outside the European Union
Dispose of the device in accordance with the local environmental regulations for electronic waste that apply in the destination country.
Our service support will gladly advise you on the safe removal of key modules (optical parts, sensors, batteries).
Why recycle?
Not only electrical equipment, but also batteries contain many recyclable metals such as zinc, iron, manganese, nickel, cadmium and lead. Some of these substances are also very dangerous for the environment and human health, especially mercury, lead and cadmium. Selected batteries are often marked with the symbol of the chemical element they contain (Pb, Cd, Hg).
By taking batteries and electrical equipment to a take-back point, we save primary raw material resources, especially by recycling the material, and at the same time protect our environment from possible improper disposal.
Unused batteries that are not handed over for recycling through take-back points, but are stored, for example, in office drawers or elsewhere in households or companies, can cause fires. Lithium batteries in particular have this property. With regard to safety, it is therefore very important to recycle used batteries as soon as possible.
