Flow reactor GR 15

The flow reactor is designed to continuously adjust the pH of aqueous solutions especially when neutralizing and eliminating pollutants from waste water.

The advantage of this device against a standard method in a staggered manner is a considerably smaller built-up area and an acceptable price at high power.

The principle of action consists in continuously dispensing the neutralizing agent into the flowing edited medium so that the resulting pH is closer to the desired value.

The pH value is continuously sensed by the pH electrode in the flow reservoir and subsequently treated with a pH regulator which directly controls the dosing pump of the neutralizing reagent.

The dosing pump continuously decomposes the reagent dose over the entire time interval between the individual pulses of the pH controller so as to provide optimum conditions for the reaction. This contributes to the internal reactor arrangement.

Properties

• the inlet to the reaction chamber is provided with a non-return valve and a dispensing valve of a neutralizing reagent with a drain tap
• the charge of the chamber is located between spacers and is designed to ensure a thorough mixing of the neutralizing reagent with the modified medium
• the pH electrode drain well is provided with a regulating valve, shut-off tap and a flow indicator. The chamber inflow is from the top of the flow reactor.
• the pH regulator GRYF 9202 is located together with the source, filter and main switch in the cabinet IP65
• the dosing pump can be placed arbitrarily near the neutralizing reagent reservoir. The dosing pump is connected to the pH regulator with the control cable.

The pump type and power is determined by the required reactor power and chemical process parameters.
